TKA’s Ian Fradella Chosen for Queen of the Valley’s Annual Excellence Award
By Tech Knowledge Associates
This month, TKA Biomedical Equipment Technician, Ian Fradella was nominated and chosen for Queen of the Valley Medical Center: St. Joseph Hospital’s Annual Excellence Award.
Below are a few reasons that Ian won the honor, as said by his colleagues:
“What an incredible man! And how lucky could we be to have his expertise combined with an amazing attitude! The support, promptness, kindness, and excellence, all beyond what I can describe in a few sentences. Mr. Fradella has such a positive energy and when he steps in the clinic to save the day he makes you feel as this is the most important project to take care of. I am beyond grateful to have a support of such a fine man with an incredible sense of care and attention. Thank you, BioMed for assigning him to us as our clinic would not operate the way it does without his expertise.”
“Ian is an all-star! He is my youngest tech, yet always rises to the occasion. He is a self-starter and is willing to learn on his own when needed. Ian exemplifies the value of excellence.”
“Ian always has thorough follow-up and interdepartmental communication whenever equipment needs troubleshooting by BioMed, whether it’s a small blood-pressure unit or a large scanner. Recently, one of our MR technologists reported an intermittent problem with an MR scanner, and Ian took care of it as competently as any more veteran tech could have.”
The award, which is voted on by peers and leadership is a huge honor. Congratulations, Ian!
